Earlier this week, Pro Football Focus named the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line group as the best in the NFL, their running backs and interior defensive lineman No. 2 and their tight ends No. 3 overall in the league.  On Friday, PFF ranked the top 25 players under the age of 25 for the 2018 season, putting cornerback Ronald Darby on that list.

Darby checked in as the 25th best player, no other Eagles player made the list.

Darby makes his second appearance on this list, now with three seasons under his belt. He has graded very well in two of them including the 23rd-ranked 84.2 overall grade in 2017. When quarterbacks targeted his coverage last season, they didn’t get much in return, collectively producing a 57.2 passer rating.

Darby played in just eight games after coming over from Buffalo before the season began. Even thought he missed half the season with a ankle injury, he still managed a career high three interceptions, and made 18 total tackles in the Eagles three playoff games.
