Joel Embiid and the Sixers were booed on Friday night against the Memphis Grizzles and again on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls.

Even though the Sixers won both games, it was Al Horford that silenced the crowd on Friday and Embiid silencing the Philly crowd on Sunday night.

Embiid hit a big 3-point shot in the fourth quarter to lead the Sixers past the Bulls.

So today Embiid took to twitter, and former teammate, now Miami Heat forward, Jimmy Butler got in on the fun.

Embiid tweeted out: "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." #TheProcess

Butler responded on Instagram with a message for Embiid, that he would be welcomed in Miami.

"I know a place where villains are welcomed," Butler said.

To which Embiid responded: "Damn right my brother."

Embiid later tweeted out another message, appearing to change course, telling Sixers fans: "Made for this...If I can take it then you can too. PHILA TOUGH!!!"

Well, I'm not going to try to read into this....but feel free if you'd like.
