The Sixers got their All-Star center Joel Embiid back on Saturday night, but will sit him out for tonight's game against Memphis.

Embiid returned to action on Saturday for the first time since injuring his knee back on March 12. He looked like the MVP candidate he was before the injury, with 24 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 29 minutes.

The 27-year old was also very efficient, finishing 6-of-14 from the floor and 12-of-17 from the free-throw line.

With Embiid out, expect to see more of Dwight Howard and Mike Scott against the Grizzles, who have Jonas Valanciunas and rookie Xavier Tillman, who have both played well.

Embiid should be back and ready to go for the Sixers, who are back on the road, at Boston on Tuesday, New Orleans on Friday, Oklahoma City on Saturday and Dallas next Monday.

The Sixers are currently tied with the Nets for the top spot in the Eastern Conference with identical 34-15 records.
