End Of An Era: Eagles Parting Ways With Pep Band’s Signals Change In Team Entertainment Lineup
The Eagles' fight song, "Fly Eagles Fly," is being retired, well, sort of.
The team has parted ways with the Eagles' pep band, which has played the song all over the Delaware Valley for 28 seasons and even had its own page on the team's website.
A team source confirmed the news.
Per CBS 3 in Philadelphia, the team says the on-field entertainment is "evolving."
Even if you have never been to an Eagles game at Veterans Stadium or Lincoln Financial Field, you likely have heard the Eagles' pep band. They have performed at many weddings, corporate events, fundraisers and more all over the area.
The Eagles' pep band made radio appearances, appeared on various television shows, like ESPN's Monday Night Football, and have been heard many times during Eagles Pre-Game Shows, including right here on 97.3 ESPN.
According to CBS 3 in Philadelphia:
An Eagles team source said that the on-field entertainment is "evolving." The team thanked the Pep Band for their years of service with the organization. The Eagles didn't provide any specifics in their plans for on-field entertainment heading into the 2025 season.
The group's four members, Bobby Mansure, Brian Saunders, Anthony "Skull" DiMeo, and Bruce Mulford, had been together since the start and confirmed to CBS Philadelphia that they were no longer associated with the team.
