The NFL trade deadline isn't until Tuesday, but today's result could have a big impact on how active the Eagles and Howie Roseman might be on deadline day.

A win, and the Eagles are at 4-4 and still very much in the thick of things in the very crowded NFC.  A loss, and the birds drop to 3-5 and are in a mathematical mess in the NFC field, with really the NFC East becoming their best option for a playoff berth.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen on NFL Countdown, the Eagles result today could play a big factor in their aggressiveness.

Some needs Mortensen mentioned include cornerback, a vertical wide receiver and defensive line help, notably a defensive tackle.

A couple of names he mentioned are wide out Robby Anderson and defensive tackle Leonard Williams, both are with the Jets, and cornerback Chris Harris of Denver.
