Sixers guard Ben Simmons was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Bucks with a lower back injury, aggravating an injury which also forced him to miss Thursday's game against the Nets.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski relays Simmons will undergo a MRI today to take a further look at the injury.

Simmons was effective early in the game, scoring five points in just five minutes before having to be removed him from the game.

Alec Burks handled most of the point guard and ball handling duties in Simmons absence, and likely will continue to do so along with Raul Neto.
