Phillies’ History with Gold Glove Winners
He is also the only member of the Phillies named a finalist after Philadelphia had Zack Wheeler, Bryson Sott (second base), Brandon Marsh (left field) up for the award last season. Wheeler won the award for pitchers in 2023 and J.T Realmuto won the award for catchers in 2022 and 2019.
Overall 20 different Philliles have won a Gold Glove award.
Harper has become a very good first baseman since moving their full-time before last season and at the end of the 2023 season. He has now played in 309 games at first base making just eight errors in 2485 chances (.997).
The last time and only time the Phillies had a first baseman win a Gold Glove was in 1966 when Bill White won the award.
The winner will be revealed on Nov. 2.
