The offer came from a Philadelphia-based fast-casual restaurant chain, HoneyGrow, that specializes in fully customizable stir-fries, salads, and "Honeybars".HoneyGrow offered LeBron James free HoneyGrow for life if he chose to play for the Sixers, which he officially did on Friday at about 11 a.m.

James, 41, decided to join the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option, after playing with the Lakers the past eight seasons.

What LeBron James Brings to the Philadelphia 76ers

Last year with LA, James appeared in 60 games and averaged 20.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 51.5 percent from the field and 73.7 percent from the foul line.

With Philadelphia, he joins Jaylen Brown, who the team added with a trade with Boston, plus Tyrese Maxey, V.J. Edgecombe, and Joel Embiid.

Updated NBA Championship Odds Following the Move

After the deal was announced, the Sixers' odds to win the NBA title went to +900, giving them the third-shortest odds in the NBA behind the Spurs and Thunder, and tied with the Knicks for the best odds of any Eastern Conference team.
