Entering his seventh season in the NFL, All-Pro Defensive Lineman Fletcher Cox is in the prime of his career in an Eagles uniform.  He has already received three Pro Bowl Selections while compiling 34 Career Sacks.  In 2017, Cox was third on the Eagles in Quarterback Pressures with 50 and was rated the second best Defensive Interior Lineman in the NFL by Pro Football Focus.  Fletcher Cox told the media earlier this year that his next goal is to win Defensive Player of the Year.

The Sporting News NFL Writer Vinnie Iyer joined The Sports Bash on Wednesday with his perspective on Fletcher Cox heading into the 2018 season:

“I think he’s going to be outstanding (this season) - There’s maybe a few guys at that level that create havoc; You put Aaron Donald in that category but you can probably only count one or two more guys with the same impact from a similar position....I think he’s gonna be outstanding, I don't know if he can play at the level of Aaron Donald, the reigning Defensive Player on the Year, but I’d say if you're gonna have any drop off to the next level of Defensive Lineman, he’s right there in that next group.”
