Heading into their match-up with the New England Patriots, the Eagles will be looking to their Defensive Line to repeat the dominance they have showcased this postseason.  The Eagles Defense recorded the Most Quarterback Pressures in 2017 with 295 (27 ahead of teams with second most this season) with four Defensive Lineman ranked by Pro Football Focus in the Top 30 at their positions.  Also cannot overlook the impact of Chris Long who played 48.16% of Defensive Snaps this season yet still compiled Five Sacks; In the postseason, Long tallied Two Sacks and registered just in the Vikings game Seven Quarterback Pressures.

Turron Davenport of USA Today Eagles Wire joined Mike Gill on Wednesday discussing how the Eagles Defensive Front was where they won the game over the Vikings:

“It was really upfront and was coming off the edge, the way they were able to get that pass rush - Chris Long, you got him rushing the passer from that (Wide Nine) Alignment, he does some ‘terrible’ things and he’s been a big time player for them so you got to give him credit for what he’s been able to do.  So it’s really just getting pressure off the edge, they were able to alter some of the throws that (Case Keenum) made….(Eagles) were going to get (Keenum) in situations where he was going to turn the ball over, that’s just the bottom of line that was going to happen and…they took advantage of the turnovers.”
