With the 76ers being among the teams who have engaged with the Spurs about the potential of trading for Kawhi Leonard, there is no specific timetable for when the self-exiled superstar could be traded but there are reports that the Spurs are ready to move on.  While the Lakers are in hot pursuit of the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, the 76ers are considered by some NBA Insiders the favorites in the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes.

Sports Illustrated NBA Reporter Jake Fischer joined The Sports Bash on Friday talking about what players be involved in a potential Kawhi Leonard to Sixers trade:

"From preliminary conversations with the Spurs, they have made it very clear to the Sixers that Dario Saric is a very primary target that they would like in return of a hypothetical Kawhi Leonard trade to Philadelphia. They also like Robert Covington. So with that in mind - the front office takes the Spurs’ preferences, collaborates that with players they would hypothetically be willing to move in a trade for Kawhi Leonard, they come up with a package that is kind of in the middle of that diagram, and they send those scenarios to ownership....I’ve been told from multiple sources around the league from both people inside the Sixers and out that (Markelle) Fultz was never mentioned in Philly’s talks - He hasn’t been significantly discussed in any legitimate capacity at all here in the trade market this offseason."
