Jason Kelce Makes Guest Bartending Appearance in Sea Isle
Eagles center Jason Kelce made a guest bartending appearance at the Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City serving up shots and others tasty beverages on Wednesday afternoon.
To help raise funds and turn autism awareness into action, Kelce was there to benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Autism has become one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders in the country, it has historically been underfunded, misunderstood, and under-researched.
The Eagles longtime center was out mingling with Eagles fans and serving up jello shots down the shore as the packed bar cheered him on.
The event raised $50,000, which the Kelce family will match.
Kelce's wife, Kylie, has been around autism her whole life and is an instructional aide, who works with special needs children.
"Once I met her, I started to really become aware," Kelce said.
The team’s signature fundraising event, which started with Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie’s vision to bring people together to support the autism community, has raised more than $10 million for cutting-edge autism research and programs since 2018. Participants can still register for the Eagles Autism Challenge by visiting EaglesAutismChallenge.org.
