Eagles Legend Jason Kelce makes surprise stop at new Sea Isle City eatery
Memorial Day Weekend is not just the unofficial start of the summer season at the Jersey Shore, but it is also the first weekend that locals and vacationers start doing double-takes when they see celebrities around the Shore Towns.
Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni spent the weekend with his family in Avalon for the second straight year. Also, the Hall of Fame Band, Journey, purchased 42 pizzas after their concert at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall.

Before becoming a frequent visitor to Sea Isle City, Jason Kelce was a six-time AP All-Pro as the Philadelphia Eagles' Starting Center for 13 seasons in the NFL.
In recent years, Kelce and his wife, Kylie, have been regularly seen around the shore town located off Garden State Parkway Exit 13. From his cameo appearances supporting Mike's Seafood Run-Walk for Autism each February to hosting his own Team 62 Fundraiser every summer at The Ocean Drive, the Kelces have become honorary residents of Sea Isle City.
Kelce has also become an investor in the popular South Jersey business Hank's Sauce, which has a restaurant location between 86th and 87th streets in Sea Isle City. But the Eagles Legend was at another restaurant on the island over Memorial Day Weekend that caught attention on social media.
At the Grand Opening of the new Johnny Cutlets on JFK Boulevard, Jason Kelce stopped by to visit and take a photo with the owner. The new food spot in Sea Isle City says on their website:
"I want my customers to experience the same amazing sandwiches that I did growing up in South Philadelphia. Prepared with love and pride, no food you can eat makes you feel the way you do when you take the first bite of a great sandwich."
Located on the north side of JFK Boulevard, and a short walking distance from the Promenade, the new Johnny Cutlets is at the address where Steve's Grilled Cheese operated for over a decade in Sea Isle City.
But getting that priceless "Jason Kelce was here" endorsement should go a long way to helping Johnny Cutlets get off to a great start for the 2026 Summer season in South Jersey.
