Jeff Stoutland Leaving Philadelphia Eagles After 13 Seasons
Jeff Stoutland's run with the Eagles has come to an end.
The veteran coach announced he is leaving the team, but did not indicate that he was retiring.
"I’ve decided my time coaching with the Eagles has come to an end," Stoutland announced on social media.
A Legacy Built in the Trenches (2013–2026)
Stoutland joined the Eagles organization when Chip Kelly was hired in 2013.
After Kelly was fired, Stoutland stayed on as part of Doug Pederson's staff and gained a reputation for developing offensive linemen, turning the Eagles' offensive line into one of the best in the National Football League. The Eagles would win the Super Bowl in large part because of their offensive line play.
After Pederson left the team after the 2020 season, Stoutland stayed on and joined Nick Sirinni's staff, again developing offensive linemen, helping the Eagles win their second Super Bowl during the 2024 season.
"When I arrived here in 2013, I did not know what I was signing up for," Stoutland wrote. "I quickly learned what this city demands. But more importantly, what it gives back."
Transitioning to the Mannion and Grizzard Era
Who will be the Eagles' successor to Stoutland? It will be interesting to see moving forward with their new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion, and pass game coordinator Jason Grizzard, now calling the shots for the Eagles offense.
