Jeffery Lurie Issues Statement on the Death of George Floyd and Protests

Philadelphia Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffery Lurie issued a statement on Tuesday regarding the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, as well as the unrest throughout the country.

The statement came via the teams official social media account and talked about how silence is no longer an option, as protests and riots filled the city and surround areas in the past few days.

Most of the demonstrations have been peaceful, but some have gotten violent, with looting and riots breaking out.
