The hits just keep on coming from the Sixers.

While their road woes continued in a ugly loss to a woeful Cleveland team, that might be the least of their issues.

Joel Embiid was fouled by Cavs center Ante Zizic and was immediate pain.  The Sixers big man grabbed his left shoulder, then stepped to the line to shoot his free throws, missing them both before heading to the locker room.

He would return to the bench, only to head back into the locker room, before being ruled out.

It has been announced that Embiid will undergo an MRI on later today, making it likely he misses at least tonight's game against the Knicks. If that's the case, that would leave the team without both Embiid and Ben Simmons, who is out with a back injury.

"This is obviously two huge losses, we need to figure out how to play without them," Al Horford said after the game. "As much as our plan has always been those guys leading us, we need to find another plan."

When asked what needs to be corrected before tonight's game with the Knicks, Josh Richardson didn't hold back.
