Nussmeier came to the Eagles during the 2024 offseason, after spending the 2023 season in LA with the Chargers and from 2018-2022 in Dallas with other Cowboys. While he has never been an offensive coordinator in the NFL, he has been one at the college level with Florida, Michigan, Alabama, Washington, and Fresno State.

The Eagles still need to replace Moore, who spent just one season in Philadelphia as the offensive coordinator.

One name that has been rumored to be a top candidate for the position in current passing game coordinator and assistant head coach Kevin Patullo, who has been with the team since Nick Sirianni was hired in 2021.

In addition to Payullo, here are a few other names to keep an eye on for the Eagles offensive coordinator role in 2025.

Whoever gets the job will have a ton of talent to work with Jalen Hurts leading the offense, Saquan Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and pretty much the entire offensive line returning. Only right guard Mekhi Becton is a free agent, with 2022 third-round pick Tyler Steen a candidate to step into that role.

Moore is also set to interview Eagles defensive back coach Christian Parker for the Saints defensive coordinator position. He just finished his first season in Philadelphia after serving as the defensive backs coach for the Denver Broncos from 2021-23.
