Philadelphia Eagles sixth round draft pick Dylan McMahon has been signed off the practice squad to the Los Angles Rams active roster.

Before being drafted by the Eagles, McMahon saw action in 49 games, starting 44 games at N.C. State at both guard and center.

The Eagles placed McMahon on the practice squad and instead elevated veteran Nick Gates on game day in Brazil, leaving McMahon open to signing with another team if there was interest from one.

The Rams scooped him up and signed him to their active roster after losing starting guard Steve Avila to an MCL sprain in Week 1 against the Lions.

The Eagles offensive line was very good in Week 1, including new right guard Mehki Becton and new starting center Cam Jurgens.

"I thought they did a nice job. Mehki is so big, and what you saw there with Mehki on Friday night was he was controlling the guy -- he was going against good players, right? That's a good front. Cam had some really nice plays. You know, Cam, there were a couple plays where Cam's getting that initial hit, whether he's working with [G] Landon [Dickerson] or working with Mekhi, and then getting off to that second level."

With Becton and Jurgens along with incumbents like Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson and Lane Johnson the Eagles have one of the best offensive lines in football.
