Eagles Inactives: Who’s in, who’s out vs Chargers
As expected, right tackle and defensive tackle Jalen Carter are both inactive for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 14 road matchup against the Los Angleses Chargers on Monday Night Football.
Johnson and Carter were both ruled out earlier on Saturday. Johnson has been out since suffering a Lisfranc injury in the Eagles' win over the Detroit Lions. Carter is out after undergoing a procedure on both of his shoulders and could miss multiple games.
With Johnson and Carter out, the Eagles are missing two of the biggest keys to their offense and defensive side of the ball.
Filling the Void at Right Tackle
Without Johnson, Fred Johnson has stepped in at right tackle for Lane Johnson, but the team is hopeful that the All-Pro tackle will be back for Week 15 against Las Vegas.
Defensive Line Depth Steps Up
With Carter out, the team will have to look at a couple of players to fill his role, including Moro Ojomo, who led the defensive tackles in snaps last week against Chicago. Ojomo has a team-high four sacks this season.
