McMullen Daily: A look at the Eagles WR Competition
The Eagles added DeSean Jackson to thew wide receiving core, giving them another weapon in the passing game, and something they've been missing, a deep threat.
The position became an area of need last season, after they let Torrey Smith go, and brought in Mike Wallace, who was lost for the season with a broken leg. They brought in veteran Jordan Matthews, but he didn't give them the deep threat they were lacking. They tried again with Golden Tate, but allowed him to walk this offseason.
This year's unit, healthy permitting, should be a deeper unit, and the battle for roster spots is filled with some interesting names.
