I had the marathon of all moves: Four month ago, we moved my girlfriend's stuff from Brigantine into storage while we waited to close on our new home. Then, this past weekend, we got everything into our new home.

Who knew two adults and two boys had so much stuff?

I credit the fact that I got through it with my sanity intact to my friends at Clark's Moving & Storage. They sent a crew of four to empty our two 10-foot by 15-foot storage units and moved it all to our new home in Bargaintown. After this experience, I'll never move myself again; with a move of this size, it was absolutely necessary to have a moving company.

They were friendly and prompt and clearly explained everything they were doing so we knew what to expect. They were careful to put down floor protection material in our new home to protect our hardwood floors, and moved everything — from the bedroom set to dining room furniture — right where we asked them to.

It was great to be able to start unpacking boxes without having to worry about moving the big furniture ourselves.

Along the way, I learned a few things about Clark's Moving & Storage that I really liked:

  • Clark's Moving & Storage is one of the longest running moving companies in the area.
  • They also offer packing services and monthly storage, so they can help you get everything packed safely away if, like me, you have to wait a bit until your new place is ready.
  • They handle long-distance moves, too. In fact, Clark's Moving & Storage offers 10 percent off interstate moves for military veterans and active service members.

So, if you're planning a move, I can't recommend Clark's enough. Call them at 609-889-0780 or visit them online at clarksmoving.net.
