The 2022 Philadelphia Eagles finished the season with the most Sacks in the NFL with 70 Sacks and a big part of that elite pass rush is Haason Reddick.  A graduate from Haddon Heights High School in New Jersey and Temple University in Philadelphia, Reddick's first year for the Eagles paid off big for the defense that only had 29 Sacks during the 2021 season.

Reddick turns 29 years old in September and he is coming off the best year of his NFL career; Last season, Reddick compiled 16 sacks and 26 Quarterback Hits, both are career highs in six NFL seasons. That excellent level of production earned Reddick Second-Team AP All-Pro honors and selection to the 2022 Pro Bowl Team.

ESPN+ published their yearly survey results after speaking with NFL League Executives, Coaches, Scouts, and Players, totaling 80 voters who submit their ballots for the top ten players at every position group.  The Eagles have two Wide Receivers who were recognized by the voters, plus three Offensive Lineman landed in the Top Ten Rankings, along with Dallas Goedert landing on the list of top five Tight Ends, and one Eagles Cornerback was ranked fifth best in the NFL.  The same voters have ranked Reddick as the fifth best Pass Rusher in the NFL heading into the 2023 NFL season:

Reddick has reached elite status as a pass-rusher after a banner year in Philadelphia, receiving several top-three votes from evaluators. This wasn't always his path -- the former first-round pick recorded 7.5 sacks over his first three seasons in Arizona, which miscast him as a defensive end and inside linebacker at various points. Reddick overcame his uneven start to post 12.5 sacks in his final year in Arizona, followed by 11 sacks with Carolina and 16 with Philadelphia last year.
"He's a closer," an NFC executive said. "Three years, three teams, double-digit sacks back-to-back-to-back. That's an impossible stat."
Reddick's five forced fumbles for the Eagles led the NFL, and his 27.5% pass rush win rate ranks second.
"This is the perfect case of talent entering into the proper situation where he's used correctly," an NFL personnel evaluator said.

Even with a new Defensive Coordinator in Philadelphia, the anticipation is that Haason Reddick will continue to be an elite pass rusher for the Eagles defense under Sean Desai.  Remember that Reddick has compiled 11 or more Sacks and 16 or more Quarterback Hits each of the last three seasons while playing for a different defensive coordinator each season.
