Local coaching product Greg Roman, a Ventnor native and Holy Spirit graduate was fired from his position as offensive coordinator by the Buffalo Bills back on Sept. 16.

Roman's resume includes three NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl, during his time as offensive coordinator with the San Francisco 49ers.

Peter King of MMQB.com joined me Thursday and said Roman doesn't have to rush back to the sidelines.

"He'll certainly be back in the league," King told me on the Sports Bash.  "Right now, he can afford to be choosy, the Bills are paying him $3 million dollars in the next 16 months not to coach. So he doesn't have to go out there and do anything."

"He's going to be really good somewhere, when he gets a head coach who he he sees eye-to-eye with.  It became apparent during his first year in Buffalo that he and Rex just weren't a good fit."
