
Flyers vs. Maple Leafs Preview: Test of Skill
The Flyers have had great success on home ice, including going 3-0-0 so far on the current five-game homestand. On Saturday night, they welcome in a team that can deliver plenty of skill and offensive firepower.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are off to a bit of a slow start, with a 5-5-1 record through 11 games. They will look to start to turn things in the right direction.
Game time is 7 p.m.
Trevor Zegras looks to remain red hot. He has a pair of three-point games on the current homestand and is up to 12 points on the season.
John Tavares joined an exclusive club with his 500th NHL goal on Wednesday. He has six goals and 14 points this season.
Dan Vladar gets the start for the Flyers. Vladar remained outstanding to start the season, making 32 saves on 33 shots in the win over Nashville.
Anthony Stolarz gets the start for the Leafs. Stolarz made 26 saves on 29 shots against Calgary on Tuesday to snap a three-game losing streak.

- Flyers: Sean Couturier is a game-time decision after leaving Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury. Jacob Gaucher was called up to be a potential replacement if Couturier is unable to play. Egor Zamula is back in on defense for Emil Andrae, who was sent down on Friday. Nikita Grebenkin comes back into the lineup for Nick Deslauriers.
- Maple Leafs: William Nylander will miss a second straight game with an injury. Former Flyer Scott Laughton will also not be ready to play on Saturday. Chris Tanev is expected to return from injury.
