Philadelphia Sixers’ preseason schedule includes visit to Iowa to face T’Wolves
The Philadelphia Sixers’ preseason schedule for the 2024-25 season includes a visit to face the Minnesota Timberwolves at the University of Iowa and an opener against the New Zealand Breakers of Australia's National Basketball League on October 7 at The Wells Fargo Center.
The visit to Iowa is the first at the location for the Sixers, which is the home state of 76ers Head Coach Nick Nurse.
This will be year two under head coach Nick Nurse, who will have a new-look roster featuring free agent addition Paul George playing for the first time. George will join Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey to form a new trio with Tobias Harris no longer in the mix.
The team also added Caleb Martin, Andre Drummond, Eric Gordon, Reggie Jackson, and first-round pick Jared McCain.
