Here’s the Phillies’ lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS
After a tough loss in Game 1 on Saturday night, the Philadelphia Phillies are tasked with bouncing back against one of MLB’s best pitchers in Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Monday night at Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies are facing Los Angeles Dodgers ace lefty Blake Snell, a two-time Cy Young award winner, who recently faced Philadelphia, tossing seven shutout innings, giving up just two hits, and racking up 12 strikeouts in the Dodgers' win.

The Phillies have had some success against Snell, who is 1-3 with a 3.41 ERA in seven career regular-season starts. They faced Snell in the 2022 NLCS while pitching with the San Diego Padres. He threw five innings, giving up five hits, four runs, and striking out six in an 8-5 Padres win.
In three games at Citizens Bank Park, Snell is 0-1 with a 2.13 ERA, 1.421 WHIP with 15 strikeouts in 12.2 innings pitched. This season, Snell has been better at Dodger Stadium than on the road, with a 4.30 ERA on the road compared to a 1.17 ERA at home.
Here are the Phillies' stats against Snell.
Phillies Lineup vs. Left-Hander Blake Snell
Philadelphia will counter with a lineup that includes seven right-handed or switch-hitting bats. It’s the same lineup the Phillies have typically used against lefty starters down the stretch.
One right-handed bat that will not be in the lineup is Harrison Bader, who will miss the game with a groin injury.
Trea Turner will lead off, followed by NL home run leader Kyle Schwarber in the No. 2 spot and Bryce Harper in the No. 3 hole. Alec Bohm will bat cleanup, followed by J.T. Realmuto at No. 5, and Nick Castellanos will hit sixth. Edmundo Sosa gets the start at second base, and Otto Kemp is in left field and will hit ninth.
Luzardo Takes the Ball for Philadelphia
Left-hander Jesús Luzardo will start on the mound for Philadelphia.
Phillies manager Rob Thomson also announced during his pregame press conference that left-handerRanger Suarez and right-hander Aaron Nola will be available out of the bullpen tonight, so the team hasn't committed to who will start Game 3 in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night.
“I think we'll probably have everybody available, really, other than Sanchy," Thomson said Monday morning. Then we'll figure out Game 3 if we use everybody."
Thomson said that the plan would be to use one of those guys, depending on the situation, and the other would start Game 3.
