
Phillies Place Daniel Robert on IL, Recall Max Lazar Before Brewers Matchup
The Philadelphia Phillies made a move in their bullpen ahead of Wednesday night's game in Milwaukee against the Brewers, placing right-handed pitcher Daniel Robert on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to 9/2) with a right forearm strain.
Max Lazar Recalled from Triple-A
Overall, he has made 15 appearances for the Phillies this season and has a 4.15 ERA with 15 strikeouts in 13 innings pitched since being acquired by the Phillies in exchange for minor league pitcher Enrique Segura on April 30. Lazar is back for his second stint of the season with Philadelphia, where he has posted a 4.78 ERA in 26 games.
Phillies lineup for Game 2 vs Brewers
The Phillies will see left-hander Jose Quintana tonight in Milwaukee with Trea Turner leading off, Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, and J.T. Realmuto rounding out the first four spots in the lineup. Alec Bohm is back at third after a day off on Monday and is hitting fifth with Harrison Bader, Nick Castellanos, Edmundo Sosa at second base, and Weston Wilson hitting ninth in left field.
Aaron Nola Gets the Start
For the Phillies, they will send right-hander Aaron Nola to the mound, who allowed four runs on four hits over his six innings of work in a win over the Braves on Friday night. On the season, the 32-year-old has struggled with a 6.47 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and 66 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched.
