Phillies’ McCutchen Explains the MLB vs MLBPA Negotiations

As the Major League Baseball players and owners continue to go back-and-forth about compensation for the resumption of the 2020 season, Phillies left fielder Andrew McCutchen did his best to try and break down why the players aren't budging in simple terms.

In a now viral video dubbed "Juice vs Water", McCutchen described why the players haven't accepted any of the owners proposals, with the most recent one Friday to the players including a guarantee of 70% of player's salaries that increases to 80% if there's a postseason.

The players believe they're owed a prorated 100% of the salaries they'd previously negotiated back on March 26th.
