Nola is looking to bounce back after an injury-riddled 2025 regular season, finishing with a 6.01 ERA in 94 1/3 innings of work.

He will be opposed by former Phillies pitcher Michael Lorenzen, who famously tossed a no-hitter in his first start with the Phillies in 2023. Lorenzen pitched in 11 games with the Phillies, after coming over in a trade from Detroit, going 4-2 with a 5.51 ERA and 1.46 WHIP.

Lorenzen allowed three runs, striking out four in 4.1 innings in his first start of 2026 against the Marlins on Saturday.

According to Cole Weintraub of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the group has the lowest combined average for the top four spots in the order through six games in team history, hitting .149 with a .557 OPS.
