New nationwide poll puts Eagles head coach in surprising spotlight
Over the decades, landing on the GQ Magazine cover is a sign of prestige, style, and sex appeal. While it is usually an honor reserved for actors and musicians, there have been plenty of athletes who have been featured in the pop culture publication:
*Novak Djokovic (2025)
*Steph Curry (2022 and 2017)
*Patrick Mahomes (2020)
*Odell Beckham Jr. (2019)
*James Harden (2018)
*LeBron James (2009, 2010, 2014, 2017)
*Tom Brady (2002, 2005, 2009, 2015)
*Shaquille O'Neal (1993, 2000)
But the only NFL Head Coach to land on the cover of GQ is Jimmy Johnson (1994). For most of football history, Head Coaches are usually older men who look more like a grandfather than a fashionable celebrity.
In 2025, there are 19 NFL Head Coaches under the age of 50. That means almost 60 percent of the National Football League's top coaches are younger than ever before in league history.
