Nerlens Noel only played seven minutes on Tuesday Night but he got a lavish ovation from the Sixers fans at the Wells Fargo Center as he compiled Three Rebounds and Four Points on 2-2 Shooting.  Noel has only appeared in three games this season since returning from a surgical procedure on his knee.

Philadelphia Inquirer Sixers Beat Reporter Keith Pompey joined The Sports Bash on Wednesday and explained why Noel needs more playing time going forward:

"The problem is when you have Joel Embiid playing Power Forward, teams will like to drag him out, and then they’re just coming in the lane and scoring at will, it becomes a lay-up line.  Being a rim protector is Nerlens Noel’s strength so if you want to win games you’re going to have to at a certain point say like ‘Hey, we gotta get Noel in there' because when Okafor and Embiid are on the court at the same time, it’s not really successful at all, so they need to get Noel in there.”
