Things are about to get interesting.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein and Zach Lowe, the Sixers and Celtics are in serious talks on a trade involving the No. 1 overall pick, additionally the Sixers are waiting on medical information on Markelle Fultz, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

At this point, no players are said to be involved, the Sixers would be giving up multiple future picks that they have acquired over the years, including the Lakers 2018 pick and the Kings 2019 pick.



 

The major assumption is that the Sixers would move up to select University of Washington guard Markelle Fultz, who just completed his freshman season with the Huskies, averaging 23.2 points per game, 5.9 assists and 5.7 rebounds.

So Sixers fans are you already imagining a team comprised of Fultz, Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and Dario Saric for the foreseeable future?

Lowe on Sportscenter says it's looking more likely.

"The terms are essentially agreed to at this point," Lowe stated. "At this point I would be really surprised if it fell apart.
