The Philadelphia 76ers must have loved their time by the Jersey shore.

The team plans to return to Stockton University in Galloway this fall, according to a report from The Press of Atlantic City.

The newspaper cited quotes from athletic director Lonnie Folks.

“My staff did everything that we could to make them feel at home last year,” Folks told the paper. "We enjoyed having them last year. It was a not a problem for us at all, and it won’t be a problem for us this year. We’re happy they’re coming back," said Folks.

The 76ers held their training camp for the first time at Stockton last fall, but the workouts and practices were closed to the public.

Although the contracts and plans have not yet been finalized, the university expects the team to hold camp from September 29-October 3. The team will also once again stay at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club just minutes from campus.

The Sixers just finished up their summer league in Utah and Las Vegas with first round pick Jahlil Okafor impressing many on the offensive end of the floor.

The Sixers will also be in the area this weekend for their annual 'Beach Bash' in Avalon.
