The Eagles are getting some help at defensive tackle.

Free agent Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave has agreed on a three-year, $39 million deal to join the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 27-year-old and the team came a contract agreement Monday, he can officially sign as the 2020 NFL league year begins on Wednesday.

The a 2016 third-round pick spent the previous four seasons with the Steelers and was Pro Football Focus' No. 12 interior lineman among 119 qualifiers last season.

Hargrave finished last season with 35 tackles, including seven for loss, and four sacks.

Hargrave gives the Eagles some serious depth next to Fletcher Cox, and with Malik Jackson expected to return from this foot injury. He is a strong run defender, and provides the Eagles some interesting options at the defensive tackle position.
