The NFL world is in Indianapolis this week for this years Combine and rumors are swirling.

Not only are rumors swirling about incoming rookies, but current NFL free agents, as well.

According to a report, the Eagles are viewed as the "favorites" to sign free agent CB Byron Maxwell.

Pauline is a longtime draft analyst, but still has a good pulse on the free agency and happening of the NFL off season.

It was evident that the Eagles need to upgrade their secondary one way or another whether that be in the draft or in free agency and Maxwell figures to be one of the top cornerbacks out there.

The Eagles are in the market for a big, physical style cornerback and Maxwell fits that bill and would be a massive upgrade over Bradley Fletcher.

Maxwell was a sixth round pick selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2011 NFL Draft and was apart of a vaunted Legion of Boom defense that was tops in the league.
