The Eagles coaching staff is reportedly complete.

According to Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly, the Eagles have hired Browns LB coach Billy Davis as their defensive coordinator.

Davis spent the last two seasons in Cleveland, but has NFL coordinating experience in Arizona (09-10) and San Francisco in 2005.

Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie played under Davis in Arizona and made his only Pro Bowl in 2009.

In a text message exchanged with Cromartie, he called Davis a 'great hire.'

Davis has been around a 3-4 defensive scheme and it is likely that the Eagles will transition to that next season.

It's been a tumultuous process for the Eagles coordinator search with Georgia's Todd Grantham, 49ers Ed Donatell and Ravens Ted Monachino were all rumored to be candidates.

The Eagles are yet to confirm the hire.
