It appears Joel Embiid thumb won't keep him from playing, but something else will.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Embiid suffered a right orbital fracture and a mild concussion in Thursday's Game 6 win in Toronto, and he will be listed as out for Monday's Game 1 against Miami.

Per Charania, there is no timetable for Embiid's return.

The injury occurred when Embiid took an elbow to the face late in Thursday's game with the Sixers leading 119-90 when the injury occurred and he was already playing through a torn ligament in his right thumb.
