The Phillies definitely seem to have interest in adding a free agent shortstop, but which one do they have the most interest in?

According to MLB insider Jon Heyman of MLB Network, the team is believed to have real interest in Boston Red Sox shortstop,  Xander Bogaerts.

Phillies Offseason: Which Free Agent Shortstop will Phillies Target?

Bogaerts of course played in Boston, while current Phillies team President,  Dave Dombrowski was in charge of the Red Sox.

Bogaerts opted out of the final three years of his $60 million contract with the Red Sox to test the free agent market.

The 30-year old hit .305 with 14 homers, 73 RBI and eight stolen bases in 149 games for Boston in 2022.

So what will it take to sign Bogaerts away from Boston? Many predict a contract worth between $170-$220 million over six to seven years and most believe he will get that deal with Boston.

However, Dombrowski and the Phillies could make a push and force him have to make a tough decision.
