The Rockets have made Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin "available" in trade talks, according to CBSSports.com and the Sixers just might be one of the teams on the other end of the phone for Asik.

With Houston trying to make a push for Dwight Howard, the Rockets are looking to move Asik, the 76ers have been mentioned as a possible destination for Asik presumably with Sam Hinkie's ties to the Rockets.

Asik, a 7-footer from Turkey, averaged career highs in points (10.1) , rebounds (11.7), blocks (1.1) and minutes (30) last season with the Rockets.  He signed a three-year, $25.1 million deal before last season when he was restricted free agent with the Chicago Bulls.
