The Eagles Linebacker position is in flux at the start of the 2016 Eagles Training Camp.  With Nigel Bradham's legal issues combined with the sudden release of often-injured Travis Long, the depth at Linebacker is looking suspect to say the least.

ESPN NFL Nation Eagles Reporter Phil Sheridan joined The Sports Bash on Wednesday and talked about the perplexing situation the Eagles have put themselves in with Linebacker depth

"It's kind of odd that they celebrated the beginning of camp by releasing Travis Long, who's been here for a couple of years on injured reserve, tore his ACL the last two summers.  It's a limited number group of guys here but Travis Long looked pretty good the first couple of days and then we get up this morning with text from the Eagles saying they release Travis Long.  So with as little depth they have at Linebacker they have that much less now.  Najee Goode is probably the best backup Linebacker they have, basically of all three positions and that's not a lot to go on going into the season.  So they need someone to develop and emerge as a at least a good backup or push for a starting job.  And if anything goes wrong with Nigel Bradham's whole legal situation they're definitely in trouble there."

Hear what Sheridan has to say who could potentially fill the roster spot vacated by the release of Long along with his analysis of Carson Wentz's development and how Doug Pederson's offense could be a good situation for Nelson Agholor and Zach Ertz to grow in
