The Sixers released their 2019 NBA Summer League roster that will begin today in Las Vegas against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The team includes last years firt-round pick, guard Zhaire Smith, who appeared in six games for Philadelphia last season, posting 6.7 points per game.  Also on the roster is this years first-round pick, Matisse Thybulle, second round pick Marial Shayok as well as Shake Milton who had some playing time with Philly and last season.  Milton averaged 24.9 points per game and added 4.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals.

 

Also on the roster is Norvel Pelle, who signed a two-way contract with the 76ers, scoring 11.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 22.8 minutes per game.  His .703 field-goal percentage led the G League and he was named to the 2018-19 G League All-Defensive Team, and Haywood Highsmith, who played with the Delaware Blue Coats last season.

Blue Coats coach Connor Johnson will be the team’s head coach.
