The Philadelphia Sixers have agreed to sign former Miami Heat, LA Clippers and Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Walton Jr., on Thursday. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the signing.

Walton has 42 games of NBA experience, including a 23 game stint for Doc Rivers last season, he also appeared in three games last season for Detroit.

In 26 total games last year, the 6-foot  guard averaged 2.0 points, 0.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 9.5 minutes per game. He shot 41% from three-point range. Johnson spent his years at Michigan and is a ball handler who will likely see limited time.
