The Philadelphia Eagles season came to an abrupt end last weekend in Tampa. Despite their 2-5 start to the season, the Eagles made things interesting down the stretch by making the playoffs after winning seven of their final ten games this season.  After going one and done in this year's playoffs, now the offseason begins.  The Eagles front office will make their evaluations while media and fans will all speculate on what the 2022 Eagles will look like.  One thing is for sure: the Eagles need to bring in better players and make draft picks that will have an immediate impact on next year's team.

In the meantime, the NFL playoffs continue this weekend with the divisional round of playoff games starting on Saturday, the Tennessee Titans host the Cincinnati Bengals at 4:30pm, and then the San Francisco 49ers travel to the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field to take on the Packers at 8:15pm.  Sunday’s lineup has the Rams headed to Tampa Bay for a 3pm showdown with the Bucs and the Kansas City Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills Sunday evening at 6:30pm - You can hear ALL the game on 973 ESPN FM!

The Philadelphia 76ers are the only bright spot in the Philadelphia sports scene right now.  Sixers All-Star center Joel Embiid is on fire; Embiid dropped 50 points on the Orlando Magic Wednesday night as the Sixers improved their record to 26-18, 2 games behind the Brooklyn Nets for first place heading into play on Friday Night.  The Locker Room with Billy Schweim will be giving away a pair of Sixers tickets to a Lucky Listener to next Saturday’s game versus the Sacramento Kings and two 76ers Tee shirts! On Saturday’s show, former Eagles Linebacker Brad Quast will join me in the studio as we recap the Eagles versus Bucs game and look at what the Eagles' biggest needs are moving forward.  Then we will hear from The Sports Book Consigliere Dave Sharapan from Las Vegas with his picks for the divisional games this weekend.  At 11am, we will talk with the 1995 Rose Bowl MVP Running Back from Penn State and the Cincinnati Bengals First Round pick in the 1995 NFL draft Ki-Jana Carter. The Bengals got their first playoff victory in over thirty years last weekend and we will talk Bengals football and more with Ka-Jana.  Plus don't miss your chance to win our Sixers giveaway prizes!!!

On Sunday’s show, Pete Thompson and I will get you ready for Sunday’s NFL playoff action.  We will hear from 97.3ESPN.com Eagles Writer and Fox 29 News Sports Anchor Scott Grayson about the Birds season and what they need to do to improve next year.   The Fantasy Football Guru Brian Hartley will check in and more on Sunday's show.

It’s The Locker Room with Billy Schweim every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to Noon on 97.3 ESPN radio.
