The Sixers might finally have some help back when the return home tomorrow night to face the Detroit Pistons.

After going 1-3 on their west coast trip, the team played without three starters for most of the trip, with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons missing all four games and Josh Richardson missing all but 10 minutes of the trip after suffering a concussion.

Both Embiid and Richardson returned to practice today for the Sixers, and both could be ready to play tomorrow night. Embiid is listed as questionable, while Richardson should be ready to play.

With Richardson back, the Sixers add another wing player who can defend.  The move will likely push Matisse Thybulle to the bench and cut into Alec Burks' minutes.

As for Embiid, he was able to get through today's practice, following a five-game absence. MIke Scott has been getting a lot of the center minutes with Al Horford, we'll see if Brett Brown sticks with Scott in that role with Embiid back in the lineup.
