Sixers Missing Three Starters Tonight vs Lakers
The Sixers will be without three starters when they face the Lakers tonight in LA after Josh Richardson was ruled out for tonight's game on Monday.
Richardson was placed in the concussion protocol on Sunday, meaning he'll need to clear a number of steps before he's allowed to return to the court.
The team is already without Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons for an indefinite amount of time. Embiid has a shoulder injury, Simmons is out with a nerve impingement in his lower back.
In Richardson's place the Sixers could choose to go with Matisse Thybulle started the second half for him on Sunday, Alec Burks and Furkan Korkmaz are also options.
The team has been using Shake Milton in Simmons' absence and he has responded by scoring a new career-high 39 points in Sunday's loss to the Clippers. Al Horford has been getting most of the center minutes with Kyle O'Quinn while Embiid is out.
You can listen to Sixers vs Lakers tonight at 10 p.m. on 97.3 ESPN.
