Sixers Reveal City Edition Uniforms

It's that time of the year again, where fans across the NBA anticipate the unveiling of their favorite team's brand new alternate uniforms. The NBA's 'City Edition' uniform combinations began a few years ago and will continue this season, as expected.

Not to get confused with the Sixers' already revealed 'Classic Edition' uniforms, the city-style has more of a modern look. And unlike past and current uniforms, the Sixers elected to spell out Philadelphia entirely, as opposed to going with the typical 'Phila' on the front in order to keep it short.

On Tuesday, word got out that the Sixers planned to showcase the new threads at their first-ever crossover art show. In collaboration with Reebok and many visual artists, the Sixers managed to pull off an NBA-themed art show right in the city of Philadelphia this past weekend. And to wrap up the long weekend filled with showcases, the team held a private party, and everybody got a look at the new uniforms.
