The playoffs can't come soon enough for the Philadelphia 76ers who will rest some of their key contributors on Wednesday night. As the Sixers plan to host the Chicago Bulls for the season finale, it will be an excellent opportunity for their younger, depth players to get on the court and get some valuable playing time for the second night in a row.

This time around though, all starters will miss time. On Tuesday, the Sixers' starting lineup still featured Jimmy Butler, Ben Simmons, and Tobias Harris but on Wednesday it's a different story. Simmons is listed as out as he will undergo a dental proceudre. A few nights ago, the Sixers' guard ended up losing a tooth, but he kept the news pretty quiet. On Tuesday, Simmons ended up getting hit in the mouth once again as well. Now, the Sixers will avoid any further issues before the postseason.

As for Butler, the only reason he ended up playing on Tuesday in the first place was to go against Dwyane Wade for the final time in his career. Since the two shared the court together many times as teammates and opponents, Butler figured that risking his health would be worth it. On Wednesday, it's a different story though. Butler will get some much-needed rest to take a load off of his back since he's been dealing with tightness. Harris, on the other hand, is just getting a regular rest night.

The starting lineup against Chicago has yet to be released, but we should expect to see another start by the rookie Zhaire Smith. Also, Boban Marjanovic will likely get the start as well as the Sixers have already ruled Jonah Bolden out on Wednesday due to left knee soreness. Depth will be thin, but the outcome of the game won't mean much regardless. At this point, all the Sixers need to do on Wednesday is stay healthy.
