There has been no shortage of rumors about the Philadelphia Phillies' willingness to move third baseman Alec Bohm.  Bohm's name has been connected to various teams including the White Sox, Mariners, and Royals.

"I do believe they have a real desire to change up some part of their club," said MLB Network's Jon Morosi on MB Network's Hot Stove. They have identified that Alec Bohm is the one of their core everyday players that they could conceivably move."

Morosi mentioned that the Mariners are one of the teams that have discussed adding Bohm in a trade, but there is nothing imminent there at this time, with the struggles of playing in Seattle for offensive players being an issue.

According to a report on Wednesday, the Phillies asked for one of the Mariners' top pitching arms in exchange for Bohm.

In initial trade talks between the two clubs, the Phillies asked for one of the Mariners’ top pitchers — Logan Gilbert or George Kirby — in exchange for Bohm, a source with knowledge of the discussions said.

However, as we discussed on Wednesday's edition of The Sports Bash, what would the team do to replace Bohm if they moved him?

"Alex Bregman's name has come up," Morosi stated. If you look at Bregman in that ballpark, 'My Goodness'. He has the same agent as Bryce Harper. I do think that Bregman and the Phillies would be a good fit if they move Bohm to the Mariners or somewhere else."
