One Atlantic City Airport Flight Named Among Spirit’s Emptiest Routes
South Jersey residents are big fans of having Atlantic City International Airport right in our backyard.
Why South Jersey Residents Prefer ACY
Residents enjoy the convenience of flying from ACY to many Florida destinations, and now some new southern spots, including Raleigh, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC. Local residents can make the easy drive to Egg Harbor Township, park their car, or even get a ride without having to go up to Philadelphia. Passengers can generally check in quickly and be sitting comfortably at the Beach House Bar and Grill, grabbing a bite and having a drink, while waiting for their flight.
Exploring New Options: Breeze and Allegiant at ACY
There are now three airlines flying from ACY: Allegiant, Breeze, and Spirit Airlines.
Breeze will be offering non-stop flights from ACY to Charleston, SC (starting May 6), Raleigh (starting June 11), and Tampa (starting July 1). Allegiant Air has non-stop flights to Myrtle Beach (starting May 21), Fort Lauderdale, Sanford, and St. Petersburg
We all know Spirit has had some financial issues, and selfishly, many locals are hoping that it can be straightened out, so they can continue to have the convenience of using their service from ACY to all the destinations they offer.
