The Phillies fall to the Marlins in another series. They are now 7-9 against the worst team in the National League. It is crazy to think where the Phillies would be, in regards to the wild card race, if they had a decent record against Miami. Rhys Hoskins hit a two-run home run to open up the scoring in the sixth inning after Cesar Hernandez failed to run out a ball that hit the wall. In the bottom half of the sixth, Aaron Nola had a brain fart and allowed three runs with a horrendous inning. Other than that, he was insanely good. This team never fails to amaze me, yet we all knew this would happen before the series even began.
